Installation Guide for EldoradoBack to Eldorado Outdoor

Eldorado Outdoor Modular Fireplace Kits :

Kit in top photos consists of center piece fireplace unit, one add on top chimney module, add on hearth extension in front, two sets of hearth seating extending both directions from central unit, plus add on seating walls at rear of hearth seating units. It was placed down as individual unit modules, shimmed level, bolted together, and then a veneer of stone was applied thereafter. A bare patio edge and boring backyard was converted to a spectacular architectural focal point and gathering place. With a little outdoor decor, it is like having an outdoor living room !

For this region we usually only stock and sell the gas log-set ready units. One can purchase an inexpensive log set or a more spectacular log-set ... that remains your choice, and we can help you with that.

Most of our region no longer allows wood burning, either seasonal or in the case of the Lower Mainland of BC, not at all. Air quality is part of the reason, fire ban regulations is the other. If you would like a wood burning fireplace we can order that style in for you from Eldorado ... the gas unit is not designed for wood burning.

Before finishing ... job in process.

After....A fabulous outdoor living room !

Note in this case the fireplace unit is installed just beyond the confines of the outdoor gazebo, pergola, or shelter. This way you don't have to fuss with a higher chimney to vent through roofing materials, etc. As the fireplace is clad in real stone for the final finish, there is no problem with it being out in the rain or snow, while the guests still get to enjoy the warmth and shelter within the gazebo.
