The contractors we refer are people we know and do business with. It is not necessary that they do all their business with us though. We refer them because they have developed a reputation of good customer service and responsive quality roofing material installations.

The contractor we refer may have specific expertise in the products you have chosen at our showroom. Or he may be part of list of "good guys" who have the capability or general roofing experience and knowledge to be able to complete a roofing installation of specialized materials, with the quality and performance you are expecting.

Often these "good guys" are not the largest roofing contractors in the market, but instead have years of successful project completions and happy customers. Sometimes they may not have large advertising or yellow pages as they have been successful being referred from homeowner to homeowner, which is often a compliment in itself.

These contractors are usually people we know, and have installation crews we could trust to do work on our own roofs on our own homes.

Why do we happily provide homeowner's with referrals to roofers ?

Re-Roofing a home is not an everyday experience. It may occur only every 15 to 25 years. We want to take the guess work out of who to hire and why. Certainly going through the yellow pages can produce a hit or miss result and may only add to the confusion.

At times the largest ads do not represent your best choice or the most solid reputation ... only a willingness to spend large advertising dollars to attract your attention. Sometimes the contractors with the largest ads are not around to service their work next year, as they quickly went out of business with the help of an inflated advertising expense. In fact the contractors who have been around the longest are often frugal on their advertising, but have earned a reputation which brings them business week after week, and year after year.

We work hard to help educate homeowners and builders on roofing material choices with our free advice. We want to ensure that the material you choose from us is installed with quality roofing supplies, and quality roofing installation practices.

Do roofers and contractors have to pay for our referrals ?

 NO. We only expect that if they are chosen to install your roof that they purchase their supplies and materials from us for your project.

Their is no binding agreement with these contractors to  purchase the materials from us... only a handshake, and the understanding that we expect the homeowner to get excellent service, and a quality installation.

The All Weather Products' Referral program is a FREE service offered to homeowners and contractors. It is conducted entirely with the Homeowner's satisfaction in mind.

Contact us for free referrals of quality contractors. We suggest you visit our showroom before getting a roofer to come and bid your project, unless you are absolutely certain what materials and roofing accessories you will need on your specific roofing application.

Feedback is important to us, both positive or not, so that we can constantly supervise who continues to qualify to be in our referral program. Please let us know how the job went after the roofing project is completed.

We recommend that you first make the trip down to our showroom for guidance in selecting your roofing materials. The selection of type of material, thickness, style, texture, and colour is best completed at our showroom by viewing our large comprehensive roofing displays.

You will also be able to review your project issues and material choices with one of our free roofing consultants available at our facility. The knowledge you can gain may be invaluable and you will be better equipped to discuss roofing issues with a prospective roofing contractor.

Choosing roofing materials from sample boards, colour brochures, or from our website will give you only a limited perspective on the requirements of your roof, and which texture is best chosen for your roofscape.

Another huge, I repeat HUGE issue, is the new warranties on asphalt shingles this year. There is a tremendous amount of misrepresentation happening in our roofing industry today, especially by the implied warranty statements from shingle manufacturers, as well as misrepresentation by salesmen and roofers, so we cannot stress enough how important it is to come to one our showrooms and talk to our un-biased sales associates about the real facts. We sell many brands of shingles, and some of them have actually seriously reduced their strength, their weight, and their thickness this year, while at the same time increasing the "sound" of their warranties. Tall tales are being told, noses are growing long and wooden, and misrepresentation is rampant.

No longer are all shingles built the same. No longer is one manufacturer's version of a "Lifetime" warranty shingle equivalent to another's similar version. Even the lowest end shingles in everyone's inventory has a vast difference between the brands. Some brands are actually 17% thinner, 17% lighter, 17% less strong, yet they cost around the same. These are huge differences in value, and huge differences in weight become huge reductions in storm resistance, wind resistance, and curb appeal !
